Belknap Bluegrass Hatchet with leather sheath

Vintage Belknap Bluegrass hatchet with original octagonal handle . The head has been cleaned and sharpened and the handle has been hand sanded smooth and treated with orange oil and beeswax . The leather sheath has a bonded welt and is made from 8/9 oz veg tan leather and secured with copper rivets and burrs .
