Vintage Collins Hatchet with custom leather sheath and overstrike guard

Vintage Collins Hatchet has been cleaned and sharpened and hung on a new American Hickory handle . The custom leather sheath and overstrike guard is made from 9 oz veg tan leather , dyed brown , hand stamped and hand painted and given an antique finish . The sheath has a bonded welt and is hand stitched with Ritza Tiger Thread and secured with copper rivets and burrs . The leather overstrike guard is secured to the hatchet with leather lace . length 14 inches , weight 1 lb 12 oz .
