Vintage Eclipse marked hatchet has been cleaned of rust and the edge sharpened .The new 14 inch handle is of American Hickory .The handle has been hand sanded smooth and hand rubbed with orange oil and beeswax.Comes with a handmade leather sheath. Length 14 inches weighs 1 lb 10 oz

This axe came Sharp enough to shave and the edge was polished beautifully. I've only used this for less than 2 hours and the head is solid on the handle. For a short term, initial reaction, I'm very impressed with this!
