WW II hatchet American Fork & Hoe Co 1942

WW II hatchet made by American Fork & Hoe Co in 1942 with Army Issue hatchet carrier . This hatchet has the original handle and paint . The handle was removed and the head rehung to ensure a lasting tight fit . The loose dirt has been carefully removed to leave the original patina and the edge was sharpened . This is a very nice piec of history ready for re-enacting or add to a militaria collection and even to make it an every day use hatchet . Length is 15 1/2 inches and weighs 1 lb 14 oz .
