Vintage Plumb hatchet with new handle of American Hickory and handmade leather sheath . The hatchet has been cleaned of rust and sharpened . The new American Hickory handle has been hand sanded smooth and hand rubbed with orange oil and beeswax . The leather sheath is from 8/9 oz veg tan leather , dyed dark brown and secured with brushed nickel double cap rivets . Length is 13 inches , cutting edge is 3.5 inches and weight is 1 lb 13 oz .
